About the Project.
Working in partnership with Newport City Homes the development comprised the construction of 5 (2 Bed) EPC A+ residential properties, situated on Cardiff Road, Newport.

Development Overview
The scheme included Innovative Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF) to create highly energy efficient homes which were also built to DQR. The development also comprised Smart Home Controls, Smart Heating & Hot Water, PV & EV Charges. This scheme was an initial MMC Land Procurement, which become a Design & Build Package Deal with Newport City Homes. Providing 5 new homes for the local area.This project was a huge success and achieved an EPC A+ rating, which will reduce fuel poverty pressures on the new residents.
Social Value
Throughout the contract we actively engaged with the local community to provide social benefits, apprenticeships and employment opportunities for local people. We also worked closely with surrounding Sports Teams and Associations, we supported the 'Liswery Lizards' the local football team, and the 'Newport Amateur Boxing Association', both with Financial Sponsorships.
