Working in partnership with Melin Homes, the development comprised 9 Timber Frame, New-build Flats (4 No 2 Bed & 5 No 1 Bed) on Hubert Road, Newport.

Development Overview
The site was challenging due to party walls and retaining structures, which we overcome with our client, local residents and building control, all notices and appropriate inspections were carried out in a timely manner.Careful Traffic Management was also of upmost importance, the development was situated on a very tight and restricted road, surrounded by existing residential properties on very busy Street. This scheme was an initial Land Procurement, which become a Design & Build Package Deal with our client. Providing 9 new homes for the local area.
Social Value
Throughout the contract we actively engaged with the local community to provide social benefits, apprenticeships and employment opportunities for local people. We worked closely with Y-Prentis and the Local Community. We implemented Work Experience Placements to Local Residents, and also employed Local Apprentices during the Construction Phase.
